Arthur sent envoys to the leaders of the armies of Cornwall and Devon, asking them to meet him at Llyn Lliwan. These armies set off to Ewias and from there to Llyn Lliwan, where they located the hiding place of the Twrch. They encircled him, using every experienced soldier they possessed, forced him out into the open and drove him by sheer force towards the lake.
